Mohamad Kharboutli grew up cooking in Aleppo, then spent years running Mediterranean restaurants across Moscow, Jordan, and Houston's Galleria neighborhood.
After years serving the Levantine table, he felt a craving no restaurant could answer — halal barbecue with the depth of Texas pit tradition and the aromatic soul of the Levant. So he built it himself.
Every dish at Levant is cooked over post oak, seasoned with cardamom, Aleppo pepper, and pomegranate molasses, and served with the pride of two cultures that know how to feed people right.
